Taneshia Nash Laird Named 2025 Woman of Influence by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum
Denver, CO — GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum has named Taneshia Nash Laird, Executive Director of Project REAP, a 2025 Woman of Influence in the Humanitarian category. This national recognition honors women whose leadership extends beyond business achievement to include lasting contributions to community, equity, and industry transformation.
Laird is one of seven professionals honored in the Humanitarian category, alongside:
- Christine Deschaine, KWP Real Estate
- Hagir Elsheikh, Hagir Network
- Lauren A. Long, Nantum AI
- Shon Lowe, NAI Hiffman | Hiffman National
- Preksha Patel, Granite Properties
- Deborah E. Riegel, Rosenberg & Estis PC
The award will be presented at the GlobeSt. Women of Influence Conference, July 21–22, 2025, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort in Denver, Colorado.
Laird was selected for her extraordinary volunteerism and sustained advocacy for cultural spaces, including those serving historically marginalized communities. As a founding member of the trade association the National Independent Venue Association, she helped secure $16 billion in federal relief for arts venues during the COVID-19 crisis. Today, she continues this mission as a board member and fundraising chair of the public charity National Independent Venue Foundation, where she’s helped distribute over $3.7 million in emergency relief to venues across 40 states.
In her professional capacity, Laird is the first alumna to lead Project REAP, the nation’s longest-standing talent initiative advancing diversity in commercial real estate. Her leadership has expanded REAP’s impact through a comprehensive Alumni Fellows program and renewed partnerships across the real estate sector.
“This honor from GlobeSt affirms that purpose and performance are not mutually exclusive,” said Laird. “Whether I’m working to preserve cultural institutions or expand access in commercial real estate, my goal is the same: to build a more inclusive and resilient future.”
