NEW YORK, NY — May 4, 2026 — Taneshia Nash Laird, Executive Director of Project REAP, convened "From the Sidelines to the Skyline," the inaugural event of Project REAP's 3P: Pro Players Property initiative, on Friday, May 1, 2026, in New York City. The breakfast was co-presented with Adler & Stachenfeld LLP in partnership with ICSC, with Hampton University and the Hampton University Workforce Development Enterprise serving as 3P's academic anchor.

Nash Laird co-moderated the panel with Danielle Ash, Partner and Co-Chair of the Impact and Ground Leases Practices at Adler & Stachenfeld. The conversation featured NFL Hall of Famer, commercial real estate developer, and investor Emmitt J. Smith; David Mosley, Co-Founder & CEO of 413 Solutions and a member of Project REAP's 3P Steering Committee; and Dennis Pemberton, Jr., Executive Managing Director of The Dawson Company — with 413 Solutions and Dawson Company actively co-developing a major project in Florida, offering the room a rare, candid view of how athlete, operator, and developer build together on a live transaction.

"Athletes are wired for what commercial real estate demands," Nash Laird said, describing the discipline, long-game thinking, and performance under pressure the room saw the panel confirm — and the connections forming long after the program ended.

3P extends Project REAP's award-winning Academy model — more than 2,000 graduates over two decades — to current and former professional athletes, bridging athletic excellence and generational wealth-building through education, mentorship, and industry access. The event reflects Nash Laird's broader work building durable pathways across capital, culture, and community.
